Description
Sorry I haven't been around for a while to comment on your lovely works. I also have not had time to create anything new.
Now I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel, this is my first picture ever. I did it in Poser. I don't know how you Poser artists do it, but Poser and I are definitely not friends. I only created 5 pictures with Poser before I gave up.
I like the theme of this picture but I readily admit the composition is lacking. Someday I will redo this in Vue perhaps it will come out better.
I'm waiting for company to come any minute so I will be back tonight.
Thanks for all your previous comments. I miss you all.

Non conosco le differenze tra i programmi. L'immagine mi piace e vedo la solita luce molto bella! Come tentativo iniziale mi sembra super ! I do not know the differences between the programs. The image I like and I see the usual light very beautiful! As initial attempt seems super!

I don't know how exactly Poser works but I think it's a good image !! The composition is nice and the light renders well !!

I am a photographer of mostly animals, and use PS 6.0 for my mixed medium works, and am eager to learn other mediums too. I bought a Corel Painter 11 with wacom virtuos 3 and am looking forward to using that for painted artwork. Also I want to try rendering, but my son who is experienced adviced me to download DAZ 3d which is a free download as he says it is easier than Poser. Ok so far I just look at it and wonder what on earth to do, but there are tutorials and eventually I hope to learn. Why not have a go with that yourself, you haven't lost anything if you do download it and you might enjoy it. Well you did a fine and great artwork here and especially being as it was your first, hugs Jane xx

Wonderful work. I love the pose of the foal and his relation to the gull. Lovely landscape as well. I like the painterly effect this has.

This image is quite good. I can't even get my copy of Poser to open properly. I would know this is your work even without the signature. While everyone's attention is focused on the interaction between the foal and flying seagull I'm noticing the psyoshida trademark detail. The gull on the ground looks like he's laughing. Well done.

nicely done

This is really very sweet. I did quite a lot of fantasy work in Poser but I much prefer Vue and use it exclusively now. Anything I wantfrom Poser I import into Vue :-)

Very nice work. Poses look good. and if this is one of your first pics it's quite good. Also you've clearly demonstrated a great sense of composition in everything I've seen. As with anything, doing makes it easier. I have yet to really delve into modelling. That will surely take up alot of time just to make a chair, so it seems. Just keep "Posering" and "Vue-ing".

"... Poser and I are definitely not friends." Sometimes when certain things don't seem to fit right for us .. it's merely Nature's manifestation of a navigational adjustment. The only thing we need to do is keep trying until we find the tools of expression that are our friends. If we keep at it, sooner or later, we will find such affinities. You certainly did, Patty. It seems to me that She (Nature) desired someone who could make beautiful portraits of her many diverse and wonderful creations. It's clear that she guided you to exactly where you need to be .. and we are all better for that little course correction. Terry

Really cute scene!

I'm with gillbrooks - I very seldom finish a picture in Poser, but import the Poser figures into Vue for composition and lighting. It's sometimes a bit clumsy and there are issues with textures, but the environment building in Vue more than makes up for the niggles. Cute scene - it would be fascinating to see a re-take...

Wonderful work, the interaction between the foal and bird is beautifully posed, for a first picture it is fantastic.

Very nice scene!

While not up to your current standard, which is your fault for setting it so frightfully high, this is very good. There is a nice playfulness which is accentuated by the posture of the horse and the contrast of the lit foliage against the darker background. I look forward to seeing what you do with it in vue. I know nothing of any of these programs. :~) I always enjoy the beauty and exquisite detail of your work.
