Description

This is my little Momma. She has decided she wants to fight. I will be there with her fighting as well. She is to frail for Chemo Therapy, but if she is not ready, then I will help her until she is. I know she will let me know. She has Lymphoma. Cats have a higher rate of getting it then any other animal including humans. I don't have long to be on. I am going to go help her clean up a bit. I want to stand with you on this. I have never had a cat with this but I've helped 2 of our dogs and it was good to "hold their hand." I can see her illness in her face but I also see her determination to fight. My thoughts are with you.

I can see she is a fighter. Try your best to keep her comfortable and she will let you know when it is time for the trip to Rainbow Bridge. There is a support group on Yahoo if your interested. I am dealing with one that has Chronic Feline Asthma. We take care of them the best we can. So sorry she is ill as she is a very beautiful kitty that does not look well. Hope you are getting your health issues under control as well. Kitty being sick is very stressful emotionally for you as you are a very kind caring person and Stress is not good for your own condition. Praying for all of you. Hugs Liz and big hug for you momma kitty from my big orange guy Mikey.

I know that some don't either understand or just misunderstand, so I will clear up the issue for any others who get here late,....like me. Momma cat is dying, this is not something she will survive from or ever get better from. She is not just ill, she has a cancer that will inevitably cause her demise. To be totally honest with you all, I am surprised that she had survived another week. If she were to exhibit being in any pain at all what so ever, I would have her put down. This cat has a will and determination that I am just awed by, and she is just simply not yet ready to go yet. If nothing else, she has certainly given us plenty of time to prepare, and accept the fact that her time with us is coming to an end. She has a most amazing story and background which I will post in her honor, after she is gone....something I had expected to have done by now. It can wait, as this is certainly something I am in no hurry for.
