Description

Built in 1888 the Hotel Del Coronado is one of the San Diego area's most recognizable landmarks. Over the years it has hosted nobility, heads of state and celebrities of all types. It is a Designated National Landmark. Movie fans may recognize it as the background for the1958 movie "Some Like it Hot" with Marylin Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon. "The Del" as it is known to locals is one of the choicest spots to celebrate anniversaries, birhdays and other family occasions. Reservations for their famous Mother's Day Champagne Brunch are usually full by early February. Enjoy
