Description

nearing Lyme Regis, along the Monarchs Way, a long distance footpath starting on the North Wiltshire downs. Myself and my wife, plus 5 other walking friends, walked from just outside Chard, to Lyme Regis, one Saturday a few weeks ago, with an overnight stop and a return journey the next day by a different route, a journey of about twenty eight miles in total. We touched roads on two occasions the rest was across country, with the occasional cow for company.

What an inviting entrance to an enchanting scene. Sounds like a wonderful walk with beautiful places like this to photograph along the way. Excellent capture.

Wonderful feel to this one, I just want to walk through that gate and take a stroll. You've pulled us into the moment with your capture of this particular moment in time and place, and isn't that what photography's all about? Very nicely done.

That sounds heavenly, though my knees would probably disagree. This reminds me of a walk I took with a friend, her two daughters and my two sons, many years ago. Like RickGot said, this image has a very strong pull. It makes me wish pictures were doorways to other places. Beautiful!
