Description

Just a lonely little flower (Cosmos) that I have captured in a friend's garden today! We had a power outage all day and just got back on the air! Hope you all had a great weekend! Stay well! Hugs, Carin xx Oh - I used my son's camera and a friend's 300mm lens! (I forgot my camera at home!)

This is exquisite! I love the delicate flower, the sense of composition, and the whole sense of atmosphere in this piece. The colors are nicely crisp, nicely sharp, and the DOF is perfect. In short, this is a gorgeous, perfect, and evocative image.

Sterling bit of focus, color and vignetting in this composition, Carin! Forgetting your camera at home is akin to not informing the post office that you're leaving on a long trip and for them to hold your mail until you get back.

I am jealous... we do not get the fields of cosmos here that I recall in Pretoria/Johannesburg as a child. This one speaks to me - as you know I love the technique and composition! My 300mm in my fav! Cheers, Clive
