Description
Byodo-in (Uji city near Kyoto) - The central building (Hoo-do Phoenix Hall) was built in 1053. Inside is the famous statue of Amida dating from the 11th century. It's one of Japan's top attractions. See the animation on my web site or youtube

Thanks magnus. That was fast. I didn't even have the time to edit my comment that yours was in. You must be all the time checking what's new. I remember you were first on one of my previous posts as well. I went to see your gallery. A lot of Poser stuff. I started 3D with Poser 3 years ago as a hobby.

almost looks like a photo, great job, and perfect attention to detail

Details! I'm not satisfied with the details. Lighting under the front porch is a bit too dark. The texture of the white stones is horrible and the texture of the wood is not natural. I could correct all this but I want to study a new point of C4D from tomorrow. I'm doing 10 to 12 hours a day and I think I'll take me a year to see what's under every menu. Thanks for the nice comments.
