Description

Hello everyone and thanks for looking... This is another picture of my model of the submarine Seaview from the 1960's movie and TV series "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea". Over the weekend, I spent a couple of hours trying to come up with a decent looking structure for the Seaview's famous bow observation windows. After a lot of trial and error, here's my latest (and possibly final) version of the ship. The smaller Flying Sub is another matter. Due to the way my version of Vue works, I haven't been able to figure out how to create some of the shapes of the aerodynamically and hydrodynamically impossible little sub. To build this, I'll have to learn some new techniques, and I've been experimenting with Wings3D and some other modeling programs for that. I'll keep you posted on my progress. What do you think? Any comments on modeling and materials texturing in Vue or any other types of modelers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom Seaview123 PS -- I cleaned a lot of my older pictures out of my gallery, mostly stuff that wasn't up to my current standards. If you'd like to see my older work, its still posted at Daz3D Artzone.

I think it turned out wonderfully! I'm surprised you could model this in Vue, in that case, I put an extra star on your chart! Lol. I'm not an expert modeler but have you tried Hexagon from Daz? I find it quite easy. Not only is your model superb but the scene is very nice too. I love the water.
