Description

This is an artwork for a german club introducing 2010 on new year's eve. The number of the year brought the idea to change digits - a tribute to the movie "2001 - a space odyssey" from stanley kubrick. Bringing the movie back into present in the confusing way the film feels to me. Like everything would suddenly stream from the shadow of the present back into brain and nerves within a wired dream. Goal was to create an artwork, that looks just abstract at first look but at a second one will open the story and the memories. The final resolution of 13780x7085px makes it my biggest rendering so far. Done with carrara studio 7 & skydome illumination. 12 hours with 6 processors and 7GB RAM.
