Today is the one year anniversary, of my first post on RR. I want to thank everybody for all the views, comments (positive and negative) and favs. I must admit that I enjoy my new friends at RR as much as those in real life. To celebrate this past year, I present you with a new avatar.
I found this pinecone as the only thing that survived a fire that had killed a very large tree. It looked so sad, hanging up there all by itself. This is a color photo.
Photo taken last week at the Rosemary Scrub Natural Area. If it had been anyplace else, I would have taken the pinecone home and displayed it with the rest of my treasures.
