Description

I logged in around my birthday this year and saw these fantastic wings in the marketplace and for such a nice price too, what a wonderful present that was! Both these images were created just to test out the wings and recolor them to match some of the textures I commonly use on the dragon, but they turned out so well I wanted to share them! Special thanks to Swidhelm for making these amazing wings, I've had to postwork the Mil Dragon's wings for so long to get them to look decent. These are just about perfect, and easy to use, too! These two images have almost zero postwork on the wings other than some deepening of the shadows on the bottom image. Special thanks to bogwoppet too for his permission to post the bottom image, as it has part of one of his images in the background, the one titled 'Badlands'. You can see the whole image here If you haven't seen bogwoppet's art yet, you must go look at it. Go. Now! It's jawdropping. So is Swidhelm's for that matter. Both of them inspire me. Some texture detail is lost when this image is shrunk... full view gets full effect.

First of all...HOLY SH*T! These look freaking awesome! You really should consider putting out a texture set for the Mil Dragon, I would snatch it up in the blink of an eye! WOW. Your textures for this beast have always impressed me, as you know. I'm looking forward to trying to get these wings as well. (soon as I can afford it). Fantastic job on both images, I really like the bottom one the best I think. And yes, Tony's work rocks as well. As does Swidhelm's.

Very nice work!! Love the black texture! (incidentally my favorite color for a dragon) That's something I want to do too is do dragon's in a ruined city via Reign of Fire. Heh. Amazing image! And this is just a test? You do some fantastic work dude! Cheers
