Description

This was shot on a beautiful warm Autumn day..For some reason, I decided to take away all of that, and change the mood entirely. Do you ever look at a shot, and it tells you what to do? We all have to decide if we want to alter the original. There are times when I look at a shot I took and say, "leave this alone" or "this needs to be sepia" . I believe that our photos at times, have a life of their own.

This is a nice, soft b&w scene but I can still feel the sunshine coming through.

Oh I agree - it was exactly like that with the portrait of Kayla I have uploaded yesterday... It just said to me... I should be B&W... This is fantastic and the B&W adds so much more atmosphere Bruce! Well done! :)

I know my shots have minds of their own. When I look at this its like those moon-lit shots in the old b/w movies. Great feel.

Agree with your words below this excellent, woodsy image. I don't know what it is, but there are times when an image just says, "Leave me alone, or make me B&W, or I want a couple of filters." Darn mouthy images...but they are usually right:-)
