_______________________________________________________________ My Approach: I do not subscribe to any form or fashion of "Whats Hot"  in the way of Art, I simply do what makes me feel good. It may not balance, contrast or align with  "what is correct", but on my journey to create what ever piece it was, It IS in fact Correct! I state this as FACT, I back this FACT with the thought that... It felt right, so it must be right. I've spent my past 40+ years on this earth trying to please everyone, except the soul inside me, Now it's time to redirect the process. It's All Good! THANKS to ALL those that enjoy my work and take time to comment.

Super lighting and textures, the blue-ish light hitting on the shield and her left side really is a nice touch and great attention to detail. Very dramatic picture in a subdued way...(does that make sense?) Great Job Scott! :)

A finely done compliment to the first image. At one point late in the campaign, when a battle was going badly, Joan was wounded with an arrow in the left shoulder. After pulling out the arrown she went into the woods to pray. When she returned to battle she led her forces to an unexpected victory. This set of two portraits seem to me a beautiful illustration of that event.. don't know if it was intentional or not but you nailed the moment. Here she looks like "Ok, let's get on with it."
