Love the arts in all their forms: Fine Art, Music, Writing, etc. A traditional painter for many years, my introduction to painting on the computer came in 1999. As time goes by I find myself spending more and more time with my tablet and pen in hand. Guess I could have a worse addiction. Since the begining of 2006 I have immersed myself into the wonderful world of photography. I have learned so much in that time and feel ready to share my stuff with you now. I'm sorry I've been away so long, but stay tuned for a daily flood of my recent captures, :)
BIO
Hello everyone! My name is John Minelli. For as long as I can remember I have had a love of the arts in all of their forms and have been striving to be the be the best that I can be. Even though I have been creating art for many years, I still feel like an infant. I find it fascinating that every time that I pick up a brush, pencil or tablet and pen I still learn something new. Although I live in Savannah, GA, USA., I have a great love of Europe; especially Italy. I spent several years working in the Middle East and took several vacations in Europe. I fell in love with Rome and plan on going back to Italy as soon as possible.

Grasshopper eyes always fascinate me, but I KNOW this is a different breed than the ones I'm familiar with because the diffraction pattern in his eyes is different, and his legs are different as well...I love his black stockings! This is a stunningly good shot, especially since grasshoppers don't really like to sit still very long. I've captured a few myself, but I'm more apt to capture a grasshopper shaped blur! Great work!
