I can't quite put my finger on why I like it either, LOL....but it does bring back nice memories of the times I've gone to Spain...I always love cobblestones and I love the small palm growing out of them. Beautiful photo.

A very simply photograph, but tells so much. How many walked by, how many people sat on the bench, what were they thinking when sitting there.ere they waiting for someone, just a quiet place to think a problem through. You can let your imagination flow. Excellent!

Wonderful composition. I've only just discovered your gallery via "Bench 2" and so I immediately went looking for the first one. I like this quite a lot...you've captured a mood and what I really like is what you don't show in this photo. I often look at images in search of a story, and this implies numerous stories; there isn't a single person in this shot and yet people are implied...after all what's a bench without humans to make use of it? This is a marvel of stark, clean elegance. I especially like the cobblestones and the lines of the bench itself against the bare wall.
