Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time.  I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

This is a fantastic image and it's also very touching. My grandmother had a form of dementia (caused by physical brain damage from strokes) and it was sometimes impossible to recognize the person she became. She suffered memory problems and her behavior changed radically. She became both pathetic and evil at the same time. It was STRANGE and sometimes felt as if she was possessed. I completely sympathize with anyone who has to encounter this, or anything similar to Alzheimer's Disease, or Senile Dementia, as I had to actually live with my grandmother during that time. I had to keep an eye on her and make sure that she remained safe (while other members of my family lived in a kind of belligerent religious mania that was nothing more than a pitiful and selfish attempt at denial. My grandmother is dead, but certain family members who shall remain nameless are still within their denial-based religious intensity, no-doubt finding other things to deny.) This image stirs a lot up in me because your affection and facing of reality in terms of your brother and mother is both obvious and beautifully touching. This is a wonderful tribute. And as the Ancient Egyptians believed, as long as a person's name is remembered, they live.

This is beautiful, Helle. I can imagine how wonderful it was to work on this image, thinking about your mom and Ole, remembering ... a comforting experience ... and the result is absolutely lovely. Thank you for sharing this with us!

a beautiful touching image, Helle, and a beautiful remembrance of your brother Ole & mother. And we can see how they live on in you through your beautiful art. The rose is beautiful, one of those rose captures that shows it not-yet open, yet all the furls full & beautiful as ever. (It looks like a rose you painted a little while back...) And your background & the blended 'halo' you put around the rose are just right for the image, as if the flower causes the dark to shine...I appreciate your feelings & memory, and the lives your beloved brother & mother led and how they still live on in you: It's beautiful & very touching. And truly the kind of image we come to expect from you, where light & beauty are never absent, no matter what. Very touching. May they live in you forever. I'll be back for more next session. A touching & poignant upload.
