I really have to catch up on your gallery! I've been away way too long, but this is a good place to come back in and start catching up. And I can start off by saying how much I like this. That castle is great and the mood of it is perfect...nicely dark, despite the brightness of the image as a whole...it adds depth. And to top it off, you quote Loreena McKennitt! That's just an extra bonus to an already great image. I especially like the composition choices you've made...something about those pine cones in the foreground is unexpected (but logical) and that is what I really noticed. I like that kind of subtlety. Great work.
