Description

Holding you I held everything For a moment wasn't I the king But if I'd only known how the king would fall   Hey who's to say, you know    I might have changed it all And now I'm glad I didn't know   the way it all would end    the way it all would go Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain   but I'd of had to miss the dance —Tony Arata
So here is a variant portrait of my new friend which sheds a little more light upon her lovely face. As promised I offer a little more about her background.  Her name is Narika and she comes from the land of Mirandus Arts. Being a descendant of Britta's vibrant imagination, Narika belongs to a tribe of female characters who resemble no others I have yet seen. I first saw Narika over at RDNA.  She caught my eye in the shop about three weeks ago. Since then I was drawn back to visit her twice more .. she has this wychy way about her, you see.   ;-) The third time must have been the charm because I decided then that we had to work together and I took her home. Sure enough .. from the first session at my studio it was like working with an old friend. These initial two portraits are merely an introduction .. something to share with you while we explore the range of our entwined inspirations.  Take my word .. you will enjoy what we're cookin'. We'll be back before long .. Terry

Your lighting work is marvelous. I almost imagine her standing by a window at sunset.

Dramatic lighting! She looks like she might be enjoying a picnic in front the fireplace. Her expression is very sweet and she looks like she's waiting for an answer. Really, very beautiful.

She looks a little wistful, as if she is waiting for someone. It does look like fire light. Excellent work. The oddest thing happened related to this post. I read a poem by vaggabondd which made me think of a song recorded by Garth Brooks. I was going to look up the lyrics but decided to open you post first and there were the words. And you posted before he did. Weird huh?

ok, ok, now I've had a look at her on RDNA and I'm convinced. It's not the morphs that make the difference, it's what you do with them. Yeah, she's good, but in your hands she gets to be great. Very impressive render.
