The game begins
The gentle swaying back and forth
Back and forth
The intentional unintentional eye contact
The slightest of smiles
Intended to say
I am crazy about you
Without committing to anything
The pure rush of fear
As you finally build the courage
To say hi as you walk by
The moment of shear pleasure
As she smiles
And says hi back
The dance has begun
And you are invited
This is the celebration of life

I like the rhythm of this. Wonderful emotions throughout. "Intended to say I'm crazy about you without committing to anything" I like those lines a lot. they perfectly reflect the excitement and nervousness of early attraction. Excellently written!

I read this and thought of a song by Garth Brooks titled 'The Dance'. So I was going to look up the words. Then I looked at Tea_Rex's lastest post and there were the lyrics. Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain but I'd of had to miss the dance Long live the dance.
