Description

This now is my attempt at an image which captures Asmodeus. He is said to be the demon of lust an desire and also of rage and destruction. He is not exyclusively seen as evil. He also is a great scholar versed in many sciences. He can see the fate of any living being and is said to have been the snake in the tree of knowledge. He taught Solomon, and helped him build his temple. Asmodeus also sent him on an interesting initiatory path into the desert, even though it was not of Solomons own choice, while he ruled the Kingdom in his stead until Solomon returned successfully. Thank you for all the comments you left in my last image and for those you might leave here. I love this and the lines are so finely done it is hard to believe it is a watercolor. Perhaps a shade lighter scan would work, but truely the rich depth of the color shows through on my monitor ... which is also new and big and bright! The design is just utterly fantastic... I hope you have this hanging on your wall somewhere. Great balanced story of this mythological character.
