Description
Yet another boring landscape... I was going to add an assortment of flying ships, but I couldn't bring myself to spoil the pristine wilderness.
Just an excuse to play with the atmospherics and infinite terrains in Vue 8...

Not just the atmosphere but the excellent rock strata on this one.. very nice even without all the extra goodies... and your right, all of the other stuff would have made this less impacting with it's simplicity.. the right choice in my opinion...

As an old Terragen user, I'm impressed with your results here. Sharp, well defined terrain and surfaces (some displacement maybe?). Clouds, atmo and lighting are perfect for this. Congrats on an excellent image!

Boring you say? I have been to places like this and they are awesome to behold. Though I may not choose to live in a place such as this, I do marvel at the beauty that comes from it. The sights, smells, sounds, I highly suggest to everyone to visit such a place if you can and spend a couple of days square in the middle of it. And if there is a storm on the way in, even better. Wonderful image!

This is fantastic! I love empty landscapes; they have so much potential and they spark unexpected stories. Empty is never as it seems...someone probably lives there and whoever they are, they're bound to be interesting. The details in this are wonderful, as is the sense of realism. This works perfectly without strange ships flying around and it would work perfectly with them as well. In short, I like this a lot!
