This is an old work horse of a ship. Great design and POV. I love the configuration, rather like a hyper-sophisticated, though rusty teardrop. Wonderful work. I especially like the textures. I wonder, though, since the vessel is apparently old (or at least well used) how the scene might actually work if there were faint trails of black smoke coming from the engine ports. I'm simply curious as I think sooty, dark smoke might play well with the apparent "age" of the ship itself and smoke does go good with rust/corrosion/battle damage. It's not necessary, but I am curious. At any rate, this is a great image, wonderfully realized.
