yes, it does feel like some presence lurking in the mesh-work, and whispering through the webs and dark spaces. And your webwork is highly elaborate, with a rich amount of open & closed spaces (between the lines), and several layers behind each other, where you made the deeper layers less focussed as they would be in, say, a photograph of the thing. It's simple but very complex, and the 'spectre' is almost entirely the overlap of lines themselves. (Ie, something new emerging out of the fabric you begin with.) Interesting how "spectral" comes from the same root as "spectrum," "special," "species," etc., all going back to the root meaning 'appearance': Your spectre is both an appearance as well as hints of the spectrum, with the feeling of a specie of something or other. Fine organic work, suggesting layers of life that we only partly see, but know are there way inside...
