“Get as many troops from orbit to surface as fast as possible”. With that brief but clear design statement this Megalictis transport vessel was constructed with as many space/time deformation units that could be fitted along a central spine. To get maximum lift from the deformers the rest of the ship was made as skeletal as possible. Although it was able to deploy four troop carriers and two support modules faster than anything previous, the Megalictis high command decided it didn’t look intimidating enough and it never entered full-scale production.
