Watching the sky today, He still took the same way. Down the path outside of town, Instead of the fast pace center ground. Peaceful, and calm with all things around, Tall high grass always found. Hearing sounds from everywhere, The brook, the ducks and flapping in air. Today though, no slow pace, to beat the rain he needed to race. At trails end he still felt light as a breeze. A smile, light heart, no worries you see. This path was quicker by far Just not as well traveled and never a car Someday his boss will figure out Sending him on this mission, brings never a pout.
