Description
My version of Frans Hals: The Merry Luthplayer. As with the last picture, this is a study for a larger picture.
I am not pleased with the glass, need to make another one, I think.

Caastel: Frans Hals was a Dutch painter living in the 16 hundreds He was famous for his portraits, and he liked to paint ordinairy people in festive mood. I'm working on some pictures, which take inspiration in his work, and this pose is taken from his painting
