This is a very lovely work, John. In the end, what gifts us, is how our works are welcomed and embraced by viewers. Patrons are always going to nitpik .. it's their money. As for our own estimations .. well, how often do things actually work out exactly as we planned? ;-) The execution of the symbolism is mastered here and with a tender touch. The composition is wonderful; the pose of her arms reinforced by the cut of her dress guides our eyes right where they belong .. into enchantment with that beautiful face. It is a fine work. Terry
