Description
There is a large flowering shrub growing across from my place that has the most beautiful purple flowers. I finally pushed myself away from the computer long enough to take a picture of it. Not wishing to throw myself on the mercy of the experts on this site, I did some research and found that this lovely flower is the Tibouchina urvilleana, a native of Brazil, which can reach fifteen feet (4.6 m) in length. Common names include princess flower, glory bush, and purple glory bush.

Beautiful color and flower! Excellent capture of the veins of the flower, the little hairs on the edges of the petals and the inside that looks crazily like fish hooks! Wonderful detail and color! Very nice!
