Fantastic shot. I love lava, and it is most definitely a wonderful heating source. I could do without the noxious vapors that can sometimes be released, however. I love the color and the texture of this. It's fantastic.

Resembled the look and feel of my big toe when I jam it against the end of my bed in those early morning hours when I'm stumbling about in the half-light. This shot does carry its own warmth.

I really can understand, why those lava fields are so fascinating to you, Errol, they are ever changing and have so many wonderful and intriguing aspects and it is a special feeling to be able to see and take captures of mother nature at work. I would love to see those lavafields one day with my own eyes...and if I get lucky maybe this dream comes true...smile
