Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

Yea, it'd do all that, but would it really be worth the scorch marks on the wall? :-) Excellent shot!

Fantastic shot. I love lava, and it is most definitely a wonderful heating source. I could do without the noxious vapors that can sometimes be released, however. I love the color and the texture of this. It's fantastic.

Resembled the look and feel of my big toe when I jam it against the end of my bed in those early morning hours when I'm stumbling about in the half-light. This shot does carry its own warmth.

I really can understand, why those lava fields are so fascinating to you, Errol, they are ever changing and have so many wonderful and intriguing aspects and it is a special feeling to be able to see and take captures of mother nature at work. I would love to see those lavafields one day with my own eyes...and if I get lucky maybe this dream comes true...smile

Great title though not sure if I'd like a lava field in my back yard. Excellent capture.
