Description
A Julia set from z^3 + c is used as a mask for two different layers of crosshatched texture.

Cool black & white work. The texture is excellent.

Zooming brought no increase in scale on my monitor screen, and I feel the texture effect would best be appreciated at a larger size. As to the image itself I like the distribution of the light and dark areas. They give a solid base whilst indicating an airiness above. Indeed, the distribution serves to emphasis the shapes in the lower part of the picture and so focus attention - for me, at least.
