Description
To love yourself, to be proud of the things you accomplish these days, to say "Yes what I did was good." These very thoughts, are considered disgraceful. When did honesty about one's self become a sin and idealic modesty the norm?
Self portait, yah I know I'm ugly, leave me alone!! LoL!!!!!!

i love the grit & texture on the left... the right side is a bit too cartoony for my tastes, but at least you have the ability to vary your work! all-in-all i like

i think this is a really good image....but like Kobain, i agree it is a little too cartoon-like on the right. the eye on the left is amazying good looking...

because however well you do something, there's always someone out there who can do it better. i don't know what exactly you're talking about, seems people these days are pretty self-assured. maybe you're thinking of the early 90's. i have to agree with everyone else about the right side.

yah i agree with the eye comment, this is actually a piece i had requirements on, and one was that 1/2 the image had to be handdrawn....so sorry boys and girls. i love the left side, too thinking of ripping off the cartoony side now that it's done and redoing the piece....but yeah. thanks guys
Curious

hmm...definitely something to think about...I know what you mean..to much of a headache to get into....also...my dearest, mattrix, thou art not ugly...youve offered a great example of your very point....your work bubbles with artistic merit...I'm enjoying it quite a bit...this portrayal of self-recognition....I like....right half a bit cartoony? Yes, but rightfully so...characters in a play and all that rot...moo.
