Description
First freeze in Tulsa last night. Ice formed on the Water plant tubs. See wrinkles in upper right quadrant.
Water hyacinths long past their prime in upper left. What we call Water lettuce (but do not eat) in lower part of image. Both Water hyacinths and lettuce tend to clean the water and offer shade to lessen algae growth in summer.

This photo brings back memories. I was cleaning up some old lemons from beneath a tree in my garden and had left them in the wheelbarrow overnight. It rained, then froze the next morning and would have been a great photo to share. Hugs!
