Description
Staci is pacing near the gates while Kelbin just stands in a bent position , his ears quivering. 'Can you stop your pacing for a moment, Friend Staci? I think I hear someone running towards us.'
'Okay, Kelbin! how's this?' as she freezes in a leaning type pose.
Kelbin sighs as he views Staci's exagerated stiff pose, 'Dear lady, must you be so frivolous and silly?'
Staci relaxes and replies with a chuckle, 'Sorry! I tend to get a bit silly when I get nervous and going to the Temple of the Fallen makes me very nervous.'
Kelbin looks up at his friend and smiles, 'I understand and I have to admit to some apprehension myself... Wait! I think I hear our guide!'
Staci, looking up, 'It's about time! whoever it is was suppose to be here an hour ago!'
Bambi runs in from the west to the gate, breathless, 'I'm so sorry I'm late! I had to tell Corinda where I was going and why and we lost track of time. I do hope you'll forgive me?'
Kelbin, looked up at Staci before answering, 'Of course we forgive you. It is understandable that you would have been delayed by your conversation with Corinda. speaking of her, how are her magic studies going?'
Bambi smiled, 'She's doing quite well for a human. and she is progressing quite rapidly, now that she's gotten over some minor disbeliefs about magic and herself. She's really very amazing in her skills already. Are you two ready to go in?'
Staci smiled nervously as she stepped toward the gate, 'Yes, we are.' She said a little forcefully. 'Oh, I'm sorry, Bambi! It's just that I'm nervous about the Temple and all. You were there with Corinda, weren't you?'
Bambi smiled at Staci as she spoke, 'Yes, Zlata felt it was important for both Corinda and I to go to the Temple of the Fallen together. I think that was a defining moment for the both of us and brought us a lot closer because we shared more in common than we had ever known. Anymore than that I cannot tell you until you both have completed you tour there and then I can answer more of your questions. If either of you have nothing else, let us be on our way.'
Daelu looked up and saw the party approach and whistled softly to Coa, 'Here they come! Let them pass'
Coa smiled at the three, 'Greetings and welcome. Bambi, you know the path and you know what to do. Guide well and speak reverently of the Fallen. Staci and kelbin, read and learn - feel and grow - meditate and love - these things we charge you to do. Go in peace and come back peaceful.' She stepped aside and waved them through.
