Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Stunning!

A wonderful pic! Sometimes I envy models getting to try all that stuff on, but then the downside is that you have to use cocaine and starve to get into the unreal sizes.

Nice shot, most of the "high class" clothing is normal clothing with a name tab sewn in and mugs with to much money buy them (for the name tab)they say a fool and their money are soon parted.. and this is so with the clothing hehehe..

Ooh, another one I missed. I love this. Those reflections are complicated and hypnotic. Funny how the fem-bots...or rather, the mannequins are metallic and somewhat glassy in tone too! I love the different light textures and the interplay of shadows. I have to say, you and Tara make Chicago look really good! Mayor Daley should bribe--er, I mean, hire you for Public Relations photo work.
