Description

This view is from about the 9,000-ft level of Volcan Irazu toward the south over the Central Valley of Costa Rica. At the base of the slope coffee is being grown. As one drives up the meandering two-lane, paved road a number of other crops are grown. About a 1,000-ft below this point potatoes are being harvested. The types of crops grown depend on the elevation on the mountain. This picture was taken on 8 December 2004. Thank you for viewing, commenting, and favs, Sig... Will comment later today.

Looking carefully, I can see fields going every which way...but in an organized fashion. Like your composition. My eye is drawn magnetically to the serpentine road. Really well done.
