Description

Well, I've decided to stop fiddling with this even if it feels half done. I really have to sit on my hands not to continue adding skin color for one thing... But I really want to keep it this way too. I might do this again. It's rare that I paint a face more than once (Cate Blanchett is one of the few), but this face is fascinating and it changes a lot depending on if he's serious or not. So it might happen again. But it will take a while. Work keep interrupting the play and I've got web sites to finish before Christmas and book covers to do in January. So maybe during spring or something ;) Or very late one night when I can't sleep. We'll see :) Thank you for all your comments on the progress I uploaded yesterday and thank you for stopping by :D C.

i love the muted contrast in his face a lot, i can look at it in many ways but get always back to those eyes! quite wonderfully done & alive looking, you can be happy with for sure :)
