Description

Captain Tkarro said to Toxic and Neon in private, "They don't know you are here, but will look here, maybe in moments. They'll bring telepaths. What we don't know, can't be used against you. If either of you have a plan, don't tell me. Take a communicator. If I ask where you are, toss the comm. My code word will be 'Coodle'. Now go. I'll try to get this straightened out, right away." Neon was terrified, but Toxic nodded and grabbed her by the hand and ran out the door. She lead Neon down to the Med-bay where her father was. Toxic said, "Get me some blonde and some red hair coloring and some scissors. Then guard the hallway." Aldus Panchetta did just that, while Toxic had Neon spray her with artificial skin, Toxic did the same, while talking on the comm to Jaeko. She had a one-sided talk with him. She grabbed up her father's sunglasses, and whispered through the Med-bay door for him to go back to his cabin. They sneaked to Neon's cabin where Toxic had her change into her only dress. They then left the Battleship behind. Neon asked, once they were in a corridor miles from the ship, "What's the plan?" Jaeko and another man stepped out. Toxic froze as Neon recognized the man. "Jaffa Rajjaf?! The BOUNTY HUNTER?" He had kidnapped Toxic some years ago and took her to Floating City 64 to fill a bounty. This time he held up his hands. "Whoa, Hold it! I'm retired. When I filled the bounty on Toxic, I screwed my life. I wanted to marry Marr Panchetta. When she found out I was involved with Toxic...she said no and broke it off. I never stopped loving her. We went our separate ways, but never found anyone else. Maybe if I can save Toxic THIS TIME...maybe you could tell Marr about it?" Neon read his mind and remarked, "He's honest. About one, thing, Toxic? Why did you get the hair color from your father? EVERYONE will be looking for a blond and red-head when we use them!" Toxic smiled and tossed them in the trash with the scissors. "That IS the idea! I heard about it from Jin--it's a RED-HAIRING!" Jaeko broke out laughing while Neon and Jaffa groaned. Jaeko remarked, "THAT is my girl! I knew Jaffa from way back and called him to see if he might be useful. He used to be a man-hunter so knows the tricks of the trade." He looked the all over and handed over the a pair of glasses to Neon and remarked, "Seems Toxic has it on the ball. Neon looks so girly-girl right now she doesn't resemble her profile at ALL. I got false ID's for both of you. Neon--you are my little sister, Dalia. I didn't expect you to look like such a kid, though." Neon stuck out her tongue. "Toxic, you are..." He started off, and she held up a hand. "Tollah Delgado. I already have a false ID better than yours. I'm older sister to Toffet Delgado. I worked it a couple of weeks ago with him and his dad...Just in case." Jaffa raised an eyebrow and said, "Damn! You ARE damned dangerous! Can you pull off playing a noble-woman?" Toxic looked worried then. "Dunno. Maybe for a couple of minutes?" They got to the hangar where Jaffa had his aircar. He groaned, seeing the custom agents inside. He whispered, "I hope that's long enough!" Toxic said, "I'm here to see my boy-friend, Jaeko-- I just got my eyes worked on at Telegardia and came over here to see him because my dad hates him and forbade me to see him. Dalia is my friend from school and YOU, mister ex-bounty-hunter are here to pick us up, and take us back to city 64!" Neon and the others blinked,"That is BRILLIANT! How did you...?" "I watch TV a lot. I saw this a little while ago on some cop drama." Toxic beamed. Jaffa groaned, "I hope these cops aren't familiar with that story! Best we got, though. Showtime! Everyone stay in character and we should be fine." Toxic nodded. She strode over to the custom agents and exclaimed, "Who's in charge here?" Neon smiled, seeing the looks of shock and said, "Here we go!" --TO BE CONTINUED!--

Totally cool! I love this! Tense and exciting narrative. Great to see Jaffa again and see a chance of him redeeming himself. Wonderful interaction of these four characters. I'm looking forward to their further adventures together! The image totally rocks! It has great depth and details. Excellent design of the bay door. I like the detail of the stairs, showing that we are only seeing a fraction of a very large area. The costumes (Jaeko sure likes that shirt), poses, and expressions are spot on! The auxiliary characters look great too. That's quite some reach that blue robot has got! Excellent work, Joel!
