Christian, fyi, just clouds with 3 lights sources in addition to the sun. There is a negative light behind the XD object, which is where the green color came from. Buzzz has a tgd/tgc file at planetside, under "abandoned ship" or something like that that is really worth looking at - very dramatic cloud base. And the "contrails" came from using an apophysis imagemap to constrain a cloud formation, This one rendered a long time, but left me feeling blah.. I've got one rendering now in reddish/yellow/green tones that I have a little more hope for. TG2 is a great program to use just to render!!
