Description
Research vessel drops atmospheric probes from just inside the upper level of a gas giant to explore the deeper reaches where the ship itself cannot safely go.
The background is done in Mojoworld with a flat surface and 12 cloud layers. Took my machine three days to render the 3840x1024 version of just the clouds.
Ship is an older research vessel I built in DOGA L3 a while back, retextured.
Probe was also a DOGA L3 creation.

Amazing work! I love the atmosphere of this...it's haunting as only space travel and exploration can be. Wonderful sense of scale and scientific accuracy. I rather like the ship itself. It's quite a creation and you've put everything together perfectly here. Wonderful work!

Markal...Terre Haute? Very funny. I was on assignment there once for a year. I must have missed those skys. Love this work. It is pure Sci Fi in the best of traditions.

I grew up there; The family farm is about 20 miles south of there and Dad and Sis have an Accounting firm in town as well. Went to ISU for the undergard work. Used to say Terre Haute was French for "Gateway to Illinois" instead of "High Ground" (GRIN)

Very cool indeed - I love the ultra wide angle view and nice to see Mojo getting some use.
