Description

(BEST VIEWED FULL SIZE!) Two hours before Aranée's arrival at the lodge, a fast-moving cold winter storm blew in from the north and began blanketing the ground with snow. She arrived to an ice-cold lodge and moped around all morning, the murky gray skies and snow flurries mirroring the swirling thoughts inside her head. Try as she might, she could not banish thoughts of the emotional pain Galen was likely reliving, and she was dogged by constant aches and longings for him in her heart. Oh, that he could be in her arms now - she missed him to the depths of her being. And so when skies overhead finally cleared in the afternoon, she stepped into a brilliant - almost painfully beautiful - white wonderland. She tilted her head to the cheery face of the sun and as it warmed her skin, so it also warmed her soul. She filled her lungs with tangy crystal ice-blue air with all the relish of tasting a fine wine. "Come, Kuila - let's go hunting." --- TO BE CONTINUED! View episodes in sequence for the entire story, links below. Still quite busy. our church gave away more than 2,000 food packets during Thanksgiving week. Our stats show that each packet on average is used to feed about three people at home, so that's about 6,000 people fed! A number of church, business, family, health and money issues are all conspiring to eat up all my time and energy. So a few more silent stretches are on the horizon, but I AM determined to post something as I can... I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving! PLEASE leave your comments or criticisms - your words are highly valued and keep me going! Image and story © 2009 by Larry Hodge

Very well crafted. They look perfectly set into the background image, in fact it does not appear as a background but rather as the complete scene. Crisp white and blue lighting is perfect for the scene.

Excellent render and story! better is the news about the food that your church gave away! that is good news! Camas and Washougal high schools did the Stuff-the-bus this year and we, the organization that I work for recieved over 22,000# of food in one day!
