Hi everyone yes it is about time i got back into showing some of my photos, i took this one at my mum and dads place on the east coast of N.S.W it'a a rainbow lorikeet usually found around the northern and eastern parts of Australia,in big fast moving flocks making lots of load skreeching sounds,this one was so cute it looks like a toy.

You are absolutely right, when they arrive, you sure know it... (twice a day at feeding time). They just love to get 'drunk', hanging upside down, picking the red fruit in the crown of the Umbrella trees. great close-up capture. Cheers BB
