Description
A few weeks ago I visited a friend that does climate research in Abisko, in the most northern part of Sweden.
We hiked in the wintery surroundings and of course I took the camera with me. =)
So these are a few photographs from there, a magic place..
This particular one from a frosen lake.

what stark beauty - wonderfully captured, eva! are those skate-marks? whatever they are, they add depth/interest, and lead the eye nicely into the image!

Thank you all for your sweet comments. =) The markings in the ice are cracks. The ice is very thick but still moves, and these cracks open up but they no more than a few millimeters wide, and the ice is safe to walk on.
