Description
Yes, I remember those wonderful, golden, sunny days I spent in southern California. Even on the morning I took this shot when I had to thaw out my legs, the sun came up and I was happy. As I look out on my frozen yard, I think of that day. It warms my heart and soul, if not my body.

Beautiful!!! Wonderful golden glow and sparkles. I can see how this would add warmth to a cold December day. I like how the water goes from almost black in the bottom left corner to almost white in the top right corner. Excellent dynamic motion! Terrific shot!

Good timing for this. After spending the day watching the live webcast of the surfing championship from Oahu's Waimea Bay yesterday I can really appreciate this shot. They had 50 foot waves but they didn't have this gorgeous golden light to surf by. :-)
