Description
Here's my first WIP of the Spacedock. I started it this morning and it's actually a pretty simple model. Especially since it's really only going to be a background piece.
For some reason, Wings is doing weird things with my texture mapping, ie. not outputting all the texture areas like I asked. So this one doesn't have quite the texture mapping I wanted. But I have to go to work, so I'll work on it later.
I always map textures with bright contrasting colours. The main texture on this was purple in wings. My wife walked past and took a look as I was mapping it and said "oooh, I like that purple spaceship." :-)

Looks great! Yeah I do the same thing (I use bright purple/pink) and it has on several occasions elicited a smart ass remark from my other half as well (GRIN).

wow...Draculaz stopped by?...;) Great ship. I don't know if it's me or what, but I notice the scaling of the models seems to have changed in the latest versions of Wings, which makes it more Poser-friendly, but some imports have come in at 'spacedock' size...;) Great pic, keep 'em coming.

Sounds like .obj export settings in Wings3D Phil. Of course you'll figure it out. Great pic regardless though, as it's the end result that counts. Isn't it?
