Description

Just my way of saying thanks for the great model, Neil. Hope you enjoy. This one was one of my favorites. Some background. The M-79 was a single shot 40mm grenade launcher, now probably a collector's item. We were trained to fire it from the hip because it kicked like a mule. I saw many men, much bigger then myself, however, fire it from the shoulder. Some specs: single shot, Iron sights,40mm round (HE, HEIncendiary, dummy), range ~375 meters, muzzle velocity ~75 meters/sec, weighed about 6lbs. A good grenadier could fire about 50 rounds per minute. Thanks to Neiwil for the M-79 model Scenery from Landscape creator, hellfire from mostdigitalcreations (freebie) Thanks for viewing!
