Description

There are two distinct parts of the Hollow .. the Hollow itself with the creek and the woods which sort of grows up the hillside from the Hollow, and then an open hillside, a meadow of sorts. We planted some trees along the top section of the meadow area, some pines and some others. Mostly the pines survived. But there is one short needled fir tree that's growing on the hillside meadow, all by itself, a gift from the birds, a tiny seed they must have dropped some years ago. When the Christmas Season arrives, the Fairy Folk gather in the meadow. They begin to collect little stars and place them on the tree, and they try to always one find one bright and shining one for the top. Sometimes we are lucky enough to see it, other times the vision seems to elude us. The little stars are djeaton's SHEM script, the Christmas Tree and the star at the top are pheonixkeyblack's double glaze script. Both scripts were tweaked a wee bit. Then the stars were reduced in size in PSP, and added to the tree layer by layer. The background was painted with one of my own cloud brushes. Thank you all for the lovely comments on the previous post, I'm so glad most of you found the little fae, they do like hide. Thank you for the faves also. Mostly though, I want to wish all my RR friends a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy Holidays no matter how or what the celebration. I hope your best gifts are family and friends, whether they be 4 footed of 2 footed! May the coming year be all you hope and dream it will be.
