This friend of yours south of the equator is dying of heat! Was 34C here today... not a breeze or a cloud - boiling hot! Kayla and I spent it in the pool! Fantastic warm image of this gorgeous flower! :)

It warms up my feelings to see this lovely summer shot :-) Thank You. I needed it. I was just on the graveyard to visit my father, my mother, my brother and my grandparents. Man was it freezing cold and blowing. I thought my nose should blow off. YUK!

Ah yes... somewhere ... This is a wonderful reminder of what has just passed us; and can only dream and hope the long and dark winter months pass us by once again, bringing back the warm summer in order to experience this type of beauty! Exquisite detail and colour, my Friend!

Ah...warm weather! I've almost forgotten what that stuff is! I love this photo and what an interesting flower. It looks like the signaling appendage for an intriguing, somewhat wrinkly alien. I love the texture and of course the colors! Super work!

Beautiful blossom. Back home we still have flowers but here in Washington the trees are bare and its rained two days out of two. I bought cold weather clothes for my visit but so far have been able to get by nicely in just a shirt and pants.
