Description
Yet another fake LP cover.
A Bryce4 Oldie from around 2002, slightly reworked. Kinda my vivid Bryce-tribute to "Yes". :)
I then was playing in Bryce with some of my weird lattices and this result suddenly reminded me of a possible "Yes" album cover by Roger Dean. (The logo was used as fan art.)
Bryce4, five bizarre objects (**), few red haze and a green sky. Lettering in PhotoImpact.
(**) Those objects are:
- Bitmaps, created from mathematical equations in "Mathcad".
- Imported into Bryce4 and used on terrains for lattices.
- These lattices then exported from Bryce4 as 3DS files, to deform them in Carrara 1.1
- Tweaked meshes finally imported back into Bryce and nicely arranged.
If you can't beat it, cheat it! I really miss basic deformers in Bryce!! So let's hope for BR7...

Check out a program called 'Topmod' (it's free), does topological shapes and deformations. Kinda math-oriented, but I've seen some good stuff done with it. Great pic

I've always been an admirer unlimited Dean, who also almost covers the entire group "YES", was also a great stylist and some pictures of fantastic film that comes out today, I suddenly recall some of its creations. Has he participated in this film about living beings with 6 members?? I like your picture because it is original, beautiful graphic signature ... Thanks!

Cool idea - yes the deformes would have been nice, i'm very excited to see what they come up with in 7.0 - lets hope they don't spoil the odd way Bryce works and renders in :-)
