Hopefully he makes it home in time for Christmas...by the firelight she waits. Thank you Schonee for Rachael! She is GREAT!:-) Its been real busy here...sorry I have slacked off on commenting...I haven't forgotten any of you...Have a VERY Merry Christmas everyone! Dancer waited, holding the candy in her hand.. She knew it was a treat.. She listened hard, pacing in front of the warm fire.. The flames, flickering on her body.. Minutes stretched into an hour and the fire was just starting to fade.. Her hope beginning to sink, the smile disappear, when she heard the sound from outside.. It grew closer, louder, nearer! Then ceased outside her door, a breathing heard in its place.. Was it her? Or whatever was outside? She grasped the Candy, walked towards the door.. Opened it wide and before her was the might of a Silver Dragon, it's wings spread wide! Steam flowing from its mouth.. It's head turned to look at her..... Dancer looked up at the Rider, sat high upon the Dragon's shoulders, his robe wrapped around him against the wind.. He smiled, she felt was safe... So she came forward and gave the Candy to the Dragon... Dragon's get Christmas treats too.... Dancer gazed at the Rider, but knew... But still smiled, she knew her Rider would return... The Silver Rider would come...... Rider.
