Description

This was one of the last significant images I did with M3 (as you can see by the inclusion of Glyn Hair, M4 was just on the verge of release) and before I had learned a lot of my tricks with Matt. Still, I've always loved this image--it could have been perfect but for that pesky shadow on the boy's chin. I always meant to go back and fix it, but I never did, so here it is. Perhaps it can be a celebration that TheKids4 may be imminent (a hair recently released at DAZ includes fits for them).

Oh, this is a wonderful render...and I was thinking how many fathers over the ages have bid goodbye to their children...many never to return. And it is a scene that is unfortunately STILL repeated in our time. Very touching render!!

A deeply emotional scene, both joyful and tragic.
