Description

Thought I would give Bryce 6.3 a run. This started out just as a simple snow background for another image, but morphed into a scene of its own :) Please zoom in as it loses a lot in the resize. Dragon was exported from DAZ and retextured in Bryce. For some reason, I couldn't get the DAZ function in Bryce to work with any version of DS :/ Some postwork and FX were done in Corel Paintshop Pro Photo X2 I am slowly recovering, but it is terribly slow.. even after antibiotics, the cough won't let go. At least I survived the H1N1... so many who are much younger and stronger than I did not, so I count myself very blessed. Thank you all for your support :)

A very beautiful landscape. The sea, sky and land gel wonderfully together and the addition of the dragon and its reflection give it a nice drama and add to the overall composition. Happy Christmas too.

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry to read you got H1N1! Actually, NOT being young was a point in your favor. Apparently H1N1 hits the young much harder then older folks. Something about exposure to an earlier Swine Flu I think in the 60s or later. I hope you are able to shake that cough, it may take several rounds of antibiotics. This is awesome, and how did you sneak two postings in without my noticing? Grins. I love the colors you chose for the scene, not your usually colors for mountains, sea and sky. The golden dragon in flight completes the scene so well. Then there are those round spots, don't know what they are called, but I get them in photos sometimes from the sun (I think). So it also has a bit of a photographic quality.

Wow!! How cool is this!! I really love the subtle colors and panoramic POV. The dragon looks and feels so majestic but comfortable in this scene. Almost as if this flight is a daily routine or as if this is his territory. What ever the circumstances it all works so nicely together. Just love the landscape and colors of the ice too. Beautiful work! John KP
